Not a very exciting journey I’m afraid. Started out at Eaton’s until it closed in 1983, then 9 years as Corporate Controller with The Montrose Group, commercial mortgage and real estate, 3 years at TD then on my own as a financial management contractor for a wide variety of small and medium-sized business clients. Am, unfortunately, still working for a few of those clients as I am not able to cut the cord and fully retire.
Was not blessed with my own children but have a special relationship with a nephew and his family so get to play “dotty old aunt” to his 15 and 10-year olds. Soccer, softball, piano recitals, lots of time together at the cottage in North Whiteshell.
Am very lucky to enjoy good health, good friends, and a very good life.
Looking forward to connecting in September.
